where were you in the great deckfight-tumblr fight of early june 2011?

some ppl survived the great deckfight* tumblr fight of early june 2011. some ppl were not sure what was going on. some ppl say it was an issue of “redirects.” some ppl say that there were redirects all over godaddy to bluehost to tumblr and tumblr said “not on my domain servers” and whipped itself into a petulant frenzy, holding hostage “vital” archival information from the the deep & thoughtful archives of deckfight, with tumblr sometimes even claiming that deckfight was “not found” and “not known.”
some ppl felt like their personal brand relevancy was threatened. also some ppl wondered “what do we put our blog trust in” and “how should we handle our internet lives in the likes of mega-blaag corporations” and “what’s the number for apache” and “this felt like a low-level 4chan scam without all the hype money can buy.”
some ppl felt they were “wronged” by the great tumblr fight of early june only to “hang on” to what matters most ie “accumulated archives.”
some ppl felt they just needed to “hunker down” and get “back to basics” and not try “fancy new” transfers, only to stay in their “comfort zone” because it is quite comfortable. some ppl believe the great deckfight-tumblr fight of early june 2011 is over. some ppl are not so sure.
what is the brand relevancy of deckfight in the post-tumblr fight of early june era? have you lost respect for deckfight? will you have a hard time “trusting” deckfight again? what should deckfight do to repair its image? what other music & sometimes lit blogs have you lost faith in?
*deckfight is a pre-eminent & overlooked relevant music (& sometimes lit) blog if there ever was an overlooked relevant music (& sometimes lit) blog created.
